SEGESTA DRIVERS TESTED NEGATIVE TO COVID

All the Segesta drivers, who were on duty when seven positive asymptomatic passengers used the service from 27 July to 8 August, have resulted negative to the Covid-test taken at the Provincial Health Department (ASP) of Trapani and Palermo.

Such data confirm that the measures adopted on board to contain the spread of the infection are effective.

The positioning of the seats in a vertical line, and never "face to face", the obligation to occupy the same chair for the entire duration of the trip, the requirement to keep the mask on and the frequent sanitizing of the seats with sodium-hypochlorite solutions, are garantees of protection of both the passenger and the personnel's health.

However, the alert level must remain high. For this reason, buying tickets in advance not only helps to keep track of the number of reservations on each bus, but it also prevents that gatherings may form at the departure for the purchase of the tickets on board.

Before showing up for boarding, make sure to have the ticket with you. Tickets can be purchased online, on the app or at one of the authorized ticket sale points.
